2004 5.4 3V Exhaust Manifolds

Well the truck has gotten the infamous ticking from a RH leaky manifold. Its about to drive me crazy. I had a question regarding the quality of them. About the only two manufacturers of then I see is MC and Dorman from Advance Auto. ARe the Dorman ones any count before I pull the trigger on one? And before someone mentions headers, not looking into spending $480 on headers

If it was me I would buy the Dorman if you actually need a new manifold. Could just be a gasket or stud gone bad. JMO

Even IF it is a gasket, its still getting a new manifold because if i have to go though all the trouble to get it off, a new one is going on. Read too many threads up here of people replacing gaskets only to find out the manifold was warped. THen they had to go through the trouble of removing it again. Better safe than sorry.
