Help!

2002 4.6 215k miles. No cel or stored codes. New fuel pump, plugs, boots, springs, injectors, battery and fuel filter.

When trying to start the truck, it will just turn over about 10 seconds before firing up. This only happens when the truck has sat about 2 days. Once I crank it up, it will not do this until it sits a couple days. No smoke or funny noises. I'm completely stumped as to what it might be. Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated!

Have you cleaned the MAF and throttle body? You might also check for a leaking injector.

Yes, I've cleaned both. Sorry I forgot to mention that. Injectors are new.

I've tried that before and it didn't help.

Not sure how that is possible when the pcm shuts down the injectors after turning over for 4 seconds, to protect the engine from dumping fuel and hydrolocking.

What is your battery voltage after sitting for a while? May be draining from sitting, in most likely cold weather. Does it turn over a bit slower? Next time it sits, check the voltage. Wouldnt hurt to check the fuel pressure when this is happening also. And you can hear the pump prime with the key in the key on, engine off position? Clean the iac valve also.
