Could you have cross threaded it and stripped the threads?

Another possibility is that it had previously blown a plug, had a helicoil put in and now the helicoil has broken lose and is spinning.

The plug was not cross-threaded, It was just being tightened to 85ft/lb. The specs said to tighten them to 100 ft/lbs. The plug snapped at 85.

Helicoil is possible. It's #2 Plug so it's hard to see. If it is, do I have to pull the head?

If you were tightening a spark plug to 100 ft/lbs, there is your problem. It should be 28 ft/lbs.

I think you are going to need to get the plug out, then get a Timesert kit and install a Timesert.

Where ever got them specs from.....throw it away.....as stated before 28ft/ lbs or 38 nM...

And if this wasn't the only one you installed the others that you did put in at 100ft/lbs might have had their threads stressed also and that also will be needing to be addressed......

Double wow . Didn't strip until 85 ft. lbs. I wouldn't have thought they would
have took that much pressure.
