Spark plug FX2, 5.4,V8

Hello,
I just got a quick question. I got m F150, 2008, FX2 brand new a few yeas ago and now I've got around 30,000 miles on it and I've noticed a drop in my m/gal, the engine feels like it is skipping a bit. It's still under warrantee, so should I change the spark plugs out myself or should I go to the dealer and get a diagnostic done first?

When do I change spark plugs and cables out anyway?

Thx

Spark plugs should be good for at least 60k miles. You don't have spark plug wires, there's a coil on top of each plug.

Throw a bottle of Techron in the gas and see if that helps.
