2005 F-150 RPM issue

I have been trying to find forums on the issue I am having with my truck but have not been successful. My issue is with my rpm when it shifts gears and the rpm drops down to around 1200. The truck starts to kinda of jerk and it feels like something just hit my truck underneath if that makes sense.

Iv had it happen before many times to when I am driving uphill and the truck shifts and rpm drops again the truck will start to vibrate quite a bit. I can give it gas and it goes away but if I keep the rpm at 1200 or so going uphill it just keeps vibrating and I have had the engine light flash on me while its vibrating.

My tranny did go at 115,000 kms and had it replaced which was very surprising as I am the original owner of the truck and have never driven it rough. Becuase of this jerking and vibrating issue my truck is virtually unable to tow so was just looking for help or advice to see if anyone has had similar problems.

Cheers

My truck was doing the same thing before I changed the spark plugs.

low rpm misfire. Could be caused by a short or by a intermittent / bad COP.

EDIT: my truck did the same thing, I thought it was the tranny, add shutter fix to it, did nothing. Changed the plugs - got better but still did it. Didn't get to change the COP's before it dropped a valve.

coil on plug, and my cousin 02 f150 4.6 truck does this, runs fine as long as you keep the rpms up. (he to lazy to change the spark plugs and cop)
