4.6 romeo to new
Hi, I am new here, and new ford truck owner, , but after purchaseing and doing some light offroading, I blew a head gasket from what I believe the symtoms say. Noticed the next day the truck was sluggish, and after a week or so noticed coolant in the oil, (butterscoth pudding) in the oil cap. I also noticed a major ticking noise( previous owner says its from starter jamming on flywheel?), anyhoo, I have the top end of the motor apart, and was wandering about how to remove timing cover, and can I compression test with fuel injectors off? and should I remove the fuel pump relay before turning it over the injector line is still there, but I removed the intake and throttle body, gonna take pics this afternoon. I will upload then so you can see what im talkin abou, also has anyone ever done this this details on a 98 4.6 liter?
looking forward to hearin it run again...properpley
