Running Rich?

Just had the Flowmaster 50 series SI/DO installed friday. I noticed this morning there is quite a bit of soot in the pipes, more so than I noticed in the stock exhaust pipe. No other changes. Been running a drop in K&N for 25,000 miles, using the same gas, etc...Temperatures have been mild here in Houston. Anything to be concerned about?

You are going to get some black soot no matter what. It may hard to diagnose a rich problem soley on that. If you have the ability to look at fuel trims then that would be a sure way of knowing rich/lean conditions.

Clean your MAF - the K&N oil has been known to foul it.

That's because your running a Chambered exhaust now. They sound okay, but your exhaust gases are now going thru a maze. Your factory exhaust is allot better performance wise. The 50 series has to be the worst option as far performance, it's a killer.
