help! cant figure this out!!!! 5.4 running rough

Help!!
99 f150 edge k&n intake and 2.25 dual exhaust... And have no codes to show anytrhing....

Ok guys I had posted last week bout my truck that it was running ruff and wasn't good at all.
Well I played around with 2 differnt maf sensors and cleaned them both and none of this helped the truck what so ever...
Well today I decided I was gonna chane the fuel filter so I changed that and put seafoam in the truck napa recommended it..
Well I started it up with the orignal maf that it use to run great on and it ran great for the first 5 seconds then it started chugging and seems like its starving for fuel almost.

If I jus start the truck up let it idle down foir a second then rev it up it runs flawless for the first 2 times I rev it up then let it idle down and it starts chugging..

It seems like its missing fuel I don't know what it could all be I don't understand...
I can rev it up right away and hold at 3grand and it will stay there and run great but when I let it idle down it starts chugging again..

What all would it be?
Fuek pump? Is there a fuel regulator? Is it something else that could throw it off? I don't understand and I have to get the truck fixed!
Any ideas is appreciuated
Thanks
David

Snag up a fuel pressure kit, check to see what it's getting. Go from there. This is not intended to say that you did or not, just a suggestion.. You sure you got the flow direction on the filter faced the right way? I'm not even sure if its possible, can't remember. Just a thought though.

have you cleaned the throttle body? not saying this is your problem, but i cleaned a friends out this past weekend as his was doing the same thing. it would idle very rough, sometimes not at all. once the rpm's were around 2 grand, it would run perfect. cleaned it out and it has been running perfect every since.

Have you checked to make sure there are no codes? I mean actually put a code reader on and checked. Just thinking maybe your SES light is out and there might actually be codes to lead you in the right direction.

30psi is low. clogged filter or bad pump most likely.

The filter was just changed and that is the orignal filter that hss 358000 miles on it and it was clean I still put a new one on so I'm assuming it is fuel pump...

yeah thats why the pumps bad. Been pushing fuel through a clogged filter for ever. Makes them wear out. although 358k on the pump is pretty good. Cant complain about that.
