If I'm not mistaken, the 3V V-10 has VVT.

The 2V doesn't have as much power as the 3V, but from a simplicity and reliability standpoint I'd look for a 2004 or newer 2V so you get the 8 thread heads, 1 piece plugs, and no cam phasers.

So did I. Got called on that myself a while back and checked. Didn't look at '10 or '11, but for sure '04-08.

I see why the did not put a 3v v10 in the econiline. No room. Plus if you have to remove the valve cover and lift it over the solinoid valve body plug in that goes throuogh the valve cover, you will not be able to remove it. It will hit the bulk head.

The E-vans never got the 3v 5.4 either. However, they did get the diesels.

But they don't get the Diesels anymore. No 6.4L or 6.7L
