ive tried these you need to gap them correctly before you put them in what you really need to watch out for is the pulse plugs themselves breaking take the rubber grommet out of your plug socket the plugs are very brittle and will break easy if you dont other than that good luck

but these plugs are supposed to be good they have 0 ohms of resistance

It's a measurement of air and fuel iexpressed in a ratio. A vehicl tries to run at 14.64:1. Numbers higher are lean and those below are rich mixtures.

Just installed them! Took me 3 hours at my base's hobby shop but was able to get it. I did not think the plugs were fragile at all and installed in the truck no problem... Didn't even have to gap them! After i started up my truck.... wow! My throttle response was so much better and really enhances the truck's power. As for gas milleage, it will take time to see. I had a smile from ear to ear driving home tho! Would recommend these plugs by far!

Well, don't get too happy yet. A new set pf plugs generally makes any engine run better....for a while. Your best bet would be to put it on a dyno but I'd bet money on no improvements over factory specs. Your expectations should be that these plugs yield better fuel mileage....maybe.

I was able to take a few pictures of the job. It shows how bad your spark plugs can be and maybe some encouragement to change them soon! I used the Pulstar ad1i's for my 4.6L's and cost me $109 for all 8 on AutoAnything. Could find them cheaper probably somewhere else, but they offered me the best shipping to Alaska. Each spark plug comes with Dielectric grease underneath the label. Like I said before, I didn't have to gap mine but doesn't hurt to check.

When you do replace your plugs, I would recommend and change the boots and springs off the COP's. They were $4.99 each and you just replace the boot and spring. Don't forget Dielectric on the bottom hole of the boot and the sides where it makes a seal on the engine's head.

Overall, I am very happy with these plugs and don't see how anyone wouldn't like these. None of my plugs cracked, broke, or anything when I put them on with a swivel spark plug socket. I'm not sure how these would act with the 5.4L, but these do work great on my 4.6L. I'll be sure to keep you guys updated over the time about the quality and mpg of the plugs!

After seeing the pics of the old plugs and then you wonder why it runs better? I'm surprised it ran at all.

Only $109 for spark plugs! Wow I must have gotten a great deal, I think for $75 I got 6 oil filters, an air filter, a few fuel filters and 8 plugs, all motorcraft stuff. If only I went with pulstar!

DudeManBroBearPig, they add 50hp, that's a hell of a gain for $109

J/K I'm with Labnerd and jethat, any plug would have made it run better. Which makes the data inconclusive really. I'm sure they will improve your mileage also. Not saying they are a bad plug, I know nothing about them. But if you were looking to compare, they would need to be compared to a new set of oem plugs as far as any mileage or hp gains. If any. Good luck with them. Hurry up and put 5k on them, pull them and see what they look like.

WTF happened to that plug in the middle on the last pic? Did you throw it in the fire or something?
