Skippin and a sputterin

I have a 2006 5.4L 4x4 Supercab, long bed. Bought it used in March, about two weeks after I got it, I turned right, hit the gas and it really started to buck and jump, bad. Got to the next stop sign and pulled out, all was fine and has been since. Until today. Got back to my office just after lunch and it did the same thing. I pulled into my spot and sat there and the engine was running really rough and the rpms were lower than normal. We'll see if it does it when I leave this evening. ANy suggestions. Plugs, maybe something gunked up. Funny how it didn't do it for almost four months though. I only have 35k on it.

I assume this happened the same way both times only when/after you turned a corner? If so was your fuel tank pretty low on fuel both times? Any codes, check eng dash light come on?

Haven't had the code checked. No check engine light, and gas was fine. I rarely let it go below 3/8 tank. Could the emergency brake be sticking? I frequently park on steep grades, and use the e-brake often. I have read a few things about this.

My 05 screw was doing the same thing. I ended up having to replace the coils and plugs but mine had 78K miles. Could be something else if you only have 35K miles.

Have the codes scanned at your local auto parts store. My truck has done this several times (in 214k miles) and it has always been a COP going bad. Just replaced whichever one the scanner tells you is out and you'll be good to go.
