Differences on F-150/250 5.4s

I have a chance to buy a complete 5.4 out of a 2001 F-250. It has a spun rod bearing. He includes a crank out of a 2008 Shelby. This was going to go into his fox body- but went a different route. Since I abandoned my plans for PI heads on my 4.6, this has come about. Is there any differences in this motor vs one from a 150. Everything I've read says NO. So I want to double check. Thanks

I am selling a complete 5.4 out of an 01 f250 was told it had a spun rod bearing. was going to build it for my coupe but decided to stay with the good ole push rod motors. so now this is just in my way.

also have a 5.4 crank out of an 08 shelby.

Make sure you get the crankshaft counterweights balanced for the 250 pistons and rods. It might be cheaper to get the old crank repaired and use over sized bearings.

Shouldn't they be the same pistons as a half ton?

The 08 Shelby has the 4 valve engine. The rotating assy is different. Check this link. http://www.eaglerod.com/mosmodule/about_balancing.html

if you can run the shelby rods then great, if not get some forged rods to go back in
