another engine noise thread...

Recently just started noticing a weird noise coming from the engine at WOT. It sounds like almost a piece of metal flying around inside the engine and when i let go of the gas, the noise slows down a little and then abruptly stops. Never noticed it before until a couple of days ago. Suggestions? Thanks

Sound like upper end or lower end? Heavy piece of metal or more like sheet metal?

Sounds like an injector making racket, exhaust leak, or a loose spark plug to me. I don't know what a DWV mod is but...

Is it only at WOT? What gear(s)?

DWV mod is basically the gott's intake mod and it happens when the truck downshifts and hits the 3500-5000rpm range
