ok guys this time its for real.

hopfully this up coming summer i will build that 5.4 from the ground up. New rods,pistons aftermarket cams and valves, valve springs etc etc. high flow upper and lower intake and to top it off a turbo kit.

Was talking to a friend he said it really wouldnt be to bad to slap a turbo on the F150 there is quite a bit of engine room with the clutch fan removed. and there is plenty of room for an intercooler in the grille area.

was thinking of a power stroke swap but thats alot of work. this would just be an engine swap plus the turbo kit.

Any good turbo kits out there for a 5.4L?

And i know my 4R70W at some point will let loose from a boosted built 5.4L my question is will an E40D out of a true 5.4L F150 fit in my truck and connect to the wire harness or would i need the harness too??

ok well found out the blower i have from a lightning will not work in my mustang so it is going to get saved to go on top of the built 5.4L

yes i know i know they are not made for pushing crazy power blah blah. im not looking for anything crazy just blown with a set of cams should be plenty. ill over build the motor for when i get bored of the eaton...
