PI Heads?????

Well the pre power improved intake will not match up with the PI heads so unless there is some kind of adapter that I'm not aware of you will have to use the PI intake with the PI heads. I think 30 hp is about it for power. Maybe a tune would help but I don't see 75-100 hp coming from the PI swap itself. I know I could have pulled and reinstalled an engine faster than this upper end swap so you may be right about just going with a 5.4.

i have a question what has to be done to drop in an entire 5.4 pi motor? any computer issues?

I was looking on ALL DATA and its something like 18-20 hours to R&R a 5.4 in these trucks.

your kidding right? 18-20 hours? that's ridiculous we did a diesel in my dads excursion in around 8 -10 hrs. i plan on pulling my motor tomorrow, but i do also have a body lift.

HI!... Your lucky to get a 30H.P (flywheel) increase. The usual is 20-25H.P. On the non P.I 5.4's, they were only 235H.P. P.I 5.4's were 260H.P. If you think your going to get 75-100H.P (flywheel) with a P.I swap then your going to be in for a BIG surprise. To get those kinda gains your need full stage II/III heads with cams.
