Sweet results! I would love to run the NGK iridium's but right now I just cant afford it being laid off and all. I know here at my local Autozone, the NGK I's are 7 bucks a pop. So that's 56 clams b4 taxes... bummer tho... cuz I would really like to treat my truck to the best parts. <sigh> Later on down the road I'll get some (I hope)

For $2.78 each, it's hard to beat the stock Motorcraft platinums.

Well guys... the task is done. NEW COPS and NGK GPower Plats installed and .....D...A...M...N...!!!!! The other guy who told me in the beginning that putting in new COPS and Plugs would make my truck run like new and damn if it didn't!!!! HOLY CRAP!!
I had some help from a friend of mine who is a mechanic and we took a test ride and found my baby truck went from 0 to 90 in 14.5 secs WITH the AC running!!! D...A...M...N...!!!!! YEEEEE-HAAAAA!!!

I guess it would be safe to say that I'm a ummmm...Happy Camper???

Thanks to everyone who has given their time, wisdom, information, experiences and what not to aide me in getting my gurl back on track.

YA BABY!! WE BE ROCKIN NOW!!!

Thank you all again so much!! You guys rock!!

I would definitely check your COPS. I broke a bolt on my #7 plug, so mine doesn't sit tight. I have the same symptoms you're talking about now. And I tuned it up about 10-15thousand miles ago because of the same issues. It won't throw a code all the time until it starts to get real bad. When the engine's cool, check and make sure the COPS are tight.
