fuel filter change

fuel filter change

I am about to change out my fuel filter, and I was wondering do I need to use a fuel filter clip wrench. ? if so what size ??

I have an 05 f150. w/5.4 If that make a difference.

Go to the parts store and they will have them labled for Fords. I first bought the metal one, but it can be a bear to use. Too thick. Later got the assorted plastic set, works much better. They are the same connector tools used in air conditioning service.

yea go ahead and get the plastic ones, that a way if you need that kind of tool for something else, fuel pump, other fuel filters, youve already got them. i think here they are about 10 bucks for the set
