Windsor to romeo ?

I have a 98 F150 5-speed 4x4. It currently has a locked up windsor 4.6L.

My question is, can i replace the windsor with a romeo?

i do know about the 6 and 8 bolt cranks, but they made the 4.6L in a manual and 6 and 8 bolt. So I can get a flywheel if the romeo can replace the windsor.

the should swap without any modifications or tuning(assuming its a non pi romeo). valve covers are different, so if you decide to get new gaskets then your gonna have to use the romeo valve covers. but other than that you shouldnt have any issues. i'm assuming the romeo is a non pi(power improved) engine as well?

As Matt said. Only even if the Romeo is power improve (PI) it will/should run just fine without a tune. I know several guys who have swapped from pre PI to PI and their engines are running great wiyhout a tune. You will want to use the coil packs system from the pre PI instead of the COP plug system though. Good luck
