This summer she should be getting a home made dual e-fan kit... that'll help ALOT, that big metal fan sucks the powahz... I also want to make a CAI, but actually take some time with it and make it somewhat decent. Also making plans for some headers and chop down the number of cats to one per side.

As far as tuning goes, I dont know how I would go about that. MY tuner burned a Diablosport chip with a stock 5.4 tune and installed it on the ECU... I think I just unplug it and give it back to him and he can throw a different tune on it

I would throw a set of LT's on their since their so cheap. You can net 30 hp 35 torque with a tune. (These are Dyno Numbers from built54 = RWHP)

Mine were under $300 and I went from 19 seconds (0-80) to 13 seconds. Got it all on Video, -I'm sure you have seen them lol.

Before LT's = http://picasaweb.google.com/jbrew393...61949443175026

After LT's = http://picasaweb.google.com/jbrew393...88043316047874

Big difference ehh lol. Yea, they helped alot.

BTW - E-fans should net you about 15 HP

You can also install a set of High Flows free , if you play your cards right. I actually came out ahead with mine.

A Borla muffler is probably the best you can have backing everything up for the 5.4L. Their exspensive as hell tho. So, I went with a larger Magnaflow instead. It works for me and the Magnaflows #'s were pretty close to the Borla (XR series I believe).

no muffler costs horse power and torque hence the majority of your lack of power

Oh brother

Sorry man, I can't believe you did that .

And now you say your not going to fix it. Shoot, did you do that to the 4six too?

You can put a V-10 in there - cut off the muffler and maybe it will run like a 4six with one.

the exhaust is too free, you need some sort of scavaging. right now you have none.

Put a muffler on i bet it helps. You probably are running rich as well.

4 stock cats are sufficient for scavenging flow rates.
