What I don't get is that you said it was hanging there from snowplowing. So how was it running at all without?

I think he ment that while he was snow plowing the clip broke but it hung on there but one say it finally fell off and his truck would not turn on and while looking he found the wire hanging

That must be it. If he knocked it off while plowing, it would probably quit. Not sure, it hasn't happened to me, but I think glc said it wouldn't run with it disconnected.

Yea, I was cruising along down the e-way, -coming back from a trip and all the sudden the truck started down-shifting, then shifting back up again, - It did this for awhile, then it stuck in second gear - WTF!!!!

Engine light came on, I got off the e-way, found a Auto Zone and it ended up being the TPS sensor. It just went out all of the sudden like that.

That is correct. I havn't messed with it, since I put it back on, but I plan to try to put a little silicone around the 2 ends, to hold the 2 pig tails together.

I'm still pissed about the A/C compressor leaking out the friggin case! Suppossed to be in the 90's here this week, and I don't have the time, or $$ to mess with it right now.

I can't complain a whole lot though its been a pretty reliable truck, and it just turned 120K. Bought it brand new.

Nope, I've never touched the system in that way. Just turn it on and it's always worked.. So far. I didn't know you could service your AC. I know you can refill, recharge them or whatnot.
