What is this noise?

What do you think this clicking noise is?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P46PtnTiVnA

This is how it sounds after I spray the underside of the belt with belt dressing.

It last about a day before the noise comes back.
Does the belt need to be replaced? As far as I know it is original, and looks in good shape.
Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

sounds like it could be the belt I know one sure fire way to find out if it is the belt do this(although I am not sure what others think) while the truck is on spray a little bit of wd-40 on the outside of the belt (smooth side) and if the noise stops then it is the belt.

Someone once told me that that was the easiest way to check it.

8 years on the original belt? Replace it with a Gatorback and clean the gunk that you just sprayed on it off the pulleys.

While changing the belt check the tensioner pulley and idler pulleys and while you are cleaning belt dressing off. Do a thorough inspection of the front of the motor.

It's recommended you change the tensioner when you change your belt. Waiting 8 years is just ,well -Dumb.

Good Job! The way that you know the Pulleys need to be changed is when you spin them by hand. You shouldn't hear ANY noise what so ever. There should also be just a very little wobble to them. When they're wore, they get tight and noisy.

At first I thought the wobble meant they were bad, that's not the case. To much wobble yes, but a very little is perfect.
