I agree 100%, but some ppl are willing to pay a bit more for the truck they want. I got really fortunate with my 98. Nov. 2007 I picked mine up for $4200.00. I had to work out a few problems with CEL. Since then, I have replaced, fuel tank, all brakes (+ new rear lines), rear shocks, all ball joints, new tires when I bought it, frt drv sd wheel bearing, respaced & rebanded rear leafs, u-joints, COP's & plugs, extang tannau cover, coated the box,
and I didn't have to but my biggest expense was having body parts replaced and a complete paint job. Truck looks and drives awesome. With everything, I think I am in 10-11k, but that is with alot of new parts and a 7-8k worth of body and paint done for $4200.00.

Got any pics of that 99 that is for sale.

it was on autotrader... im sure it still is... but they sold it... if you want to see it go to
model ford f150
year 1999-2004
and then click the extra search stuff linkand put in 4 wheel drive
and in the millage part put in under 45,000...

then for the list order put in year oldest to newest... its the top one.

Last week I bought my 2002 F150SupercabLariatFX4 5.4L with 69k miles for $9500. It's in really great shape. Drove it 1200 miles this past weekend to my new contract job. Has lots of options like 6CD player in the console, adjustable brake pedals, traction lok, keyless entry, and also has the key pad on the door. I bought it from a 50 ish family.
The Ford dealer in my town had one just like it that had 55k miles on it and they were asking $13,995 for it.
