think smart man, make sure your next mods play well with your intended goal, I could have saved myself a ton-o-cash by not messing around with bolt ons that I took off and sold for cheap just to buy more expensive power adders
Haha yea been down that road before, wasting my time trying to mod a 4.6. Everything ive got now is designed to work later on with the blower. Except for my intake setup obviously and ill have to upgrade my fuel system. In hindsight the only thing i wish i wouldnt have gotten for this motor was the coils and wires and just switched to the cop setup. Which i may still do anyway.

Haha thanks jbrew. Man you've got pictures that apply to everything. Haha i answered my own question tho. Found this on lightning rodder

http://www.lightningrodder.com/forum...t=idler+pulley.

Turns out there is a different front cover casting that the lightning use for the 8 rib pulley. The F85E casting. Itd be good info to add to your archives brew. haha

Now that gives me another reason to get rid of the my front cover. It doesnt line up and the pedestal is too short. Dang i wish i wouldve known this a week ago.

Yep just some self etching primer and high temp engine enamel. I thought about polishing it, but it would take forever. I wouldnt think youd be able to see your timing cover well enough to worry about polishing it. Its all covered up by your idler bracket and the supercharger drive. But if you do polish it dont forget the zoop seal!!!

you can see the timing cover behind the tensioner bridge on a eaton setup, that with a black bridge and polished pulleys...

It's a name of a polished aluminum sealer!

I had mine powder-coated. A lot easier to keep looking good.
