I wouldn't get excited about it. Buy the extenders for it and call it good.
Yea i didn't figure it would make a whole lot of difference, so i wont worry about. Ill probably ask my tuner and see what he recommends. If hes fine with it im fine with it. lol But rather than buying extenders i think ill just buy new o2's with longer pigtails. I want to replace them anyway so might as well save some money there.

And Tarajerame since i already have the coils and wires i think ill stick with them, but for future reference i didn't think the two harnesses were interchangeable? So if i wanted to swicth to COPS on down the road would i just have to switch harnesses and get COPS?

i have one comment without reading everything so far. aside from having to make a mount for the coil packs, the MSD's may not be better for you. i know i had more misfires right off the batt with their coil packs.

Here's another tip. Put on some clothes when taking pictures of chrome stuff.

Longtubes look good man. I think I'm gonna go with OXB also. Where did you buy them and how much $$$?

Yea ive heard that, but i already had them bought and they were cheaper than the stockers. So if i have problems with them i guess ill have learned my lesson, and have to shell out for the motorcrafts.

Oh crap didn't even think about that. lol i just didn't have a shirt on but the reflection from the resonator it looks like im naked.

And i bought them form sparktecmotorsports.com. They are one of the sellers on ebay but i bought them straight from their site. I paid 530 for them shipped. That includes headers, midpipes with resonators, crappy exhaust gaskets, donut gasket for collector, stainless bolts for the collector, and some crappy exhuast clamps. So i bought two maggie highflows, exhaust gaskets, stage 8 headers bolts, and some better clamps. So all together ive got about 750 in them verses the $1400+ dynatechs.

Ive got two requests.
1. Does anybody with the obx's installed have pictures of them from underneath the truck? Cuz my stock midpipes on the driver side bend 90 degrees straight up for about 3 or 4 inches before the 90 degree bend towards the passenger side. Im guessing this has to do with it being a 4x4 and these headers are for a 2wd lightning?

2. Klitch do by chance have any pictures of the coil mount you fabbed up? just so i have a general idea of what i can mount to etc.....

Thanks for all your help guys.

Just make sure you get it tuned or you will be leaving a LOT of power on the table. The load tables are all screwed up if you don't change the engine size in the computer.

I've got some undertruck shots in my gallery here...

http://forums.corral.net/photopost/s...85&sort=1&sl=t

The "s" shaped pipe on my kit was wrong from OBX, the hanger was mounted on the wrong side of the pipe so I'm not using it, other than that those headers fit great.

Yea it will def be getting tuned. Im looking into having Don Lasota do custom mail order tuning. Anybody heard anything about him? Good or bad?

And thanks for the pics 01Roush. Although it looks from you pics that on a 4x4 the tcase would def be in the way. If thats the case ill just hack up those shiny midpipes and weld in some sections of the stock midpipes to make it work. lol For the 4x4 guys out there with the obx's did you run into any problems?

none that are unmounted. i just took a piece of flat stock, ground it down to the contour of the timing cover, then welded it to the oem bracket. just whatever works.

also, you may be able to find some obx pics in my gallery. i had to add onto their kit to make it fit around behind the t-case.

Yea the mount shouldn't be too big off a deal. And as far as the obx's go thats good to know cause i didn't see any way to do it without a little fabrication. Thanks!!!

I highly recommend Don. He has done my tuning and set up my Pro Racer software. He is second to none, in my opinion.

You are going to need a tune for the extenders on the front O2's......might as well eliminate the rear O2's an EGR while yer at it.

You will like the OBX LT's...I have them but definately add the cats because it will stink up the garage if you let it idle even for a minute. I have a vid of my first crank over with just the headers wide open if you y'all want to see....sounds like s**t, but louder than hell!

Yep already got the egr delete and already planned to have the rear o2s turned off in the tune. Two less sensors to replace.

Can i bolt my 4.6 knock sensor onto the the 5.4? Or will i have to buy one for the new block? Or can i turn that off in the tune as well?
