haha i will the reason i havent is my dad has been at a car show for the last week like getting cars ready for it and im not comfortable putting it back on but thanks guys for all the help

That will take maybe a month. Change out the intake unless you can go that long without your truck.

We don't know anything - we're just a bunch of dumbass rednecks and hillbillies that beat the crap out of our trucks and don't have a clue what makes them tick. However, we DO use capital letters to begin sentences, and our period and comma keys work.

Now - I'd be willing to make a bet that with the stock intake back on, it runs every bit as good as it did with the K&N, it will run 87 octane without pinging, and the only difference is there's no longer the sucking and moaning noise under the hood when you put your foot in it.
