blowed out a spark plug

blowed out a spark plug

my 00 lariat is f-up it blew out the same spark plug and now it doesnt want to screw back on. how should i fix this

ive heard of people takin it to a shop and havin them put a heli coil in to hold the plug in there good i dont know how else to do it

timesert. Most dealers are equiped and there is a guy on this fourm who rents the tool. Search timesrt or spark plug blow out.

I have the tool and use it in my shop. Very nice tool with stop collars so you dont mess up. Picked it up for $400 from Timesert.com Never have aproblem with that cylinder again if done to spec.

2nd best choice is Timesert. We have a member here (Galaxy) that rents out his tool. Helicoil does not last, only do that if you are going to turn around and sell the truck.

What are you searching for??? A new set of heads?

They told you the way to fix it,,that's your best bet unless you do want new heads.

Do not helicoil. Go with the Timesert Triton kit.

The BEST way to fix it!
There's even a guy on here renting out the kit so you can save some money.
