04' cruse control

04' cruse control
does anyone know how to run a self test on the cruse control on an 04 f-150. or how to reprogram it? it won't come on at all. any ideas?

Check for bad fuses, brake lights out, and a bad brake light switch on the brake pedal.

have you had the cruise control recall done to it? if you did you may need to check the fuse that was installed in the wire.

04's do not have that recall. That was only on prior model years. 04 set up is not the same.

brake lights are on. not sure what to try next.
