Thanks for all the ideas, some of them seem pretty doable on my budget and will be looked into. I kinda already knew that 400hp on an 5.4 3v F150 was kinda impractical, in a budgetary sense of the word anyway. Honestly I'll be happy to get 350-375hp on this truck.
Give it another couple of years and it'll be joined in the garage by a '00-'04 Mustang, and than let the games really begin.

1 you'll lose alot at the wheels. he wants 400 at the crank which you probably have.
