I just replaced my rad and lower hose. I had to get the hose from Ford and it's a quick disconnect job- the parts guy didn't know what to do with it. Something about bending that tab?? The old one was clamped on and leaked.
Anyone know what to do or have any pics of what it should look like???

Thank you!! That was exactly what I was looking for! He had more of the instructions visible on his hose, now I get it!!

 

could yuo post a picture of the wording and explain as no one was familiar with the wording on the old hose on the first thread nor how to remove

inquiring minds would like to know in case someone finds a similar arrangement

bend back tab
rotate hose 45*
pull apart

thats what it says in the other thread. patman was able to read it.

 

That's what I got, too. Mine was smudged so bad I couldn't read it so I was lost!
