The only accurate way to calculate gas mileage is do the math. Miles driven / gallons used.

I'm right there too.....
I don't believe you can get anything better in town unless you push the truck at times...

Why do you question the accuracy of the onboard computer?

The odometer and the gas pumps are more accurate. This assumes your odometer has been recalibrated to compensate for any mods you have made such as different size tires or different gears.

11.2 that sucks!
i get that in town EASILY w/ my 35's.

a custom tuner will help and get you up to around 15mpg. my dad gets b/w 15-16 city in his 08 KR with his gryphon. Sister gets 13-14 with edge in her 06 lariat.

if you haven't noticed were a f150 family...

If you want accuracy, get a scangauge II.

Mine is about 18+ on a long highway drive and anywhere from 10-15 in the city pending how much fun I want to have.

Yea, the 5four really really likes that fuel if you put the coals to her once or twice a tank.

When she sounds good, it's more difficult to maintain composer with the go pedal. I managed to get that GT sound effect back when taking off. I like that sound prolly a little to much driving around town. - Specially from the light
