I did not see the plug but that makes sence and having the programmer on there will intensify it so sounds like an electrical issue.

No i have an Airaid on the truck. I was told from Ford Dealership that using additives is what creates the build up on the plugs. i am only using fuel additives, higher octane stuff.

If the COP is not firing consistently, there will be unburned fuel deposits on the plug.

What fuel additives? You should not be using any of them except possibly Techron.
The Air Raid could also cause a lean condition.

I live in AZ man the hotter it gets the worse the air is with the programmer (when it is in) set to performance I need a higher octane so adding Torco helps bring up the octane level which by the way is only 91 in Arizona

The Edge Level 3 is tuned for 91. You really should not need an additive. I would be more concerned that you might be running lean with the aftermarket intake, since the Edge is tuned for stock intakes only. However, you said there was black smoke, that certainly does not sound as if it is lean. There are several people in Arizona that are running the Edge without any trouble.

A decent dealer service department could stress test it to tell you what was wrong instead of making you wait for the code. Your dealer is backyard.. I could do that in MY backyard. The edge would give you the code. I think you have a bad coil. Thats what there going to fix I'm betting.

Update took the truck to Ford- Multipule misfires(105+) on all cylinders. So far they are stating that the TPS sensor is bad. replacing sensors and all spark plugs. Here is the funny thing, even though I have been having this issue prior to turning 36,000 and they could not pin point till I threw a code which now I am at 36,098 the factory warrenty will not cover.
Does anyone have a direct number to FORD- i think the dealership is hosing me!!!

If you have documents showing they have worked on this problem before your mileage rolled over they will cover it. Unless of course you have a crooked dealership.
