oh thats right since 1948, and they are still the number 1 truck sold in the world to date. Dependability must be really bad to do those kind of numbers.

Ummm first F150 was what 1976? before then it was a F100....

Also tundra roots have been around since late 80s early 90s with the T100, then the first gen tundra from 1996?-2007

Nice try tho....

First, nice try it was 75. And they basically are the same truck just a name change when the addition of the "heavy half" ton name was coined due to its payload and to get around the stricter emissions. F-100 evolved in the F-150 when they improved the payload and such.

T-100 entriely different, they cancelled it entirely to start over new since there 6 year old truck was not giving them the results they wanted. So as far as dependability the "Tundra" has been around since 1999, with "roots" as far back as the late 80's from the hilux, and mostly the T-100 in 92.

While the Ford is relavtively unchanged with the exception of 2 more numbers to the badge since 1948 When the F-1 was introduced.

It's hard yes, well , unless the new model has catastrophic failure. Failures have been going on with Tundra's before they were a year old - Just about out of the gate - It went like hell @ first, only to croak in the stretch. I think there on revision 16 under the hood - I read that awhile ago tho - Most likely 20 by now.

Makes you wonder - Did they even test their design ? Or is that up to the suckers they reel in ?

Tundrowned.

WRONG. 5 F-SERIES trucks are sold for every one 1/2 ton Tundra. You can't read can't you, Ford never list F150 as an individual model, they group it into F-SERIES along with the F250, 350,450,550 ect.. You get the point. I'm sure if Ford were to list ONLY 1/2 Ton F150 sales right now, it will be plain pathetic.

All sales are down for everyone and it is Pathetic. Fords are as well, it all pretty much follows the market. Ford sales are only Pathetic compared to past sales figures... - Their own/which correlates w/market recession
