My 97 4.6 4x4 with 150,000 mi. on it still runs a 16.20 quarter mi. I have Gibson s/s headers and super truck exhaust, Jet chip. iceman intake,Tornado,Denso iridium plugs, and have been running 5-50 syntec oil with Prolng since it had 4000 mi. on it.

Oh i forgot to say last week i had a slight miss , tracked it down to the vaccum hose on the back of the throttle body to a module on the firewall was leaking.
I put a layer of rubber tape then a layer of elect. tape on the hose and now all is well.

That would be your EVAP hose. Runs from the Top of the Plenum to the EVAP Purge valve.

BTW - They make replacement hose for that ..
