Well guys, thanks for the help! I wish this didn't have to get so off-topic, but some people are just immature....Anyway, JBREW, I cleanded my MAF yesterday and put in a non-oiled filter. You mentioned something about rebooting? Are you just talking about rebooting the computer (ie disconnect battery)? Also, I'm running 265 Firestone Destination ATs so it's nothing that big.

Thanks

Jbrew, NO B.S. Borg Warner O2 issue??

I was just about to get replacement O2's for my 97 F150 I believe the BW part # is 179.

Back to this battleground of a post:
Better fuel economy = max compression before detonation + strongest spark + easiest flowing air and exhaust within optimum % of each other.

I just built my 4.6 DOHC 9.85 comp + Jacobs DIS ignition ,underdrive pullies, custom intake, custom exhaust; single 2.5" into 2, 2" 18" Magnaflow mufflers pre axle side exit. I'm expecting an average of 17 with a highway of about 23.
Previous vehicle is a Expedition, 1200lbs. heavier with a 5.4, 14.4 avg. with a HW of about 20.

Well, it seems as though there not selling the sensors I had, imagine that.... - I know they were the right Part # because I went round and round w/KEVIN until he gave in. This is what there showing now -

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-B...mZ160231013096

That WAS NOT the same sensor body I had - This was a year and half ago , right before my headers.. Uhmm, hang on - Some one has to have them , I'll see if I can find them , so you know what ones not to buy, I think I know who might have them .. ~ Yea, here they are , there not listing my EXACT model anymore - Stay away from these!!! -

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/O2-OX...3286.m20.l1116

After installing I didn't really notice anything but a bad mileage drop. I replaced with OEM's, these.. -

http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/de...3-1617602.html

There a little pricey compared to what you can get on eBay , after I installed these and rebooted - That's when I noticed the difference -I didn't know how bad it was actually running until I thru a set of these in there. Learned a lesson - Don't cheap out on your O2's , it really can cost yuh --- 9 mpg was adding up quick compared to 15/16 mpg as an average - No actually I'm getting close enough to 16 to call it that. The last time I check It 16.4 - low 15.2, 15.8 (twice) - I get on it once in awhile too 50% city / 50 % HW..

That's how it went for me - 98 5.4L / Non-PI / Motorcraft Plugs (Just the Standard Double Platinums, (No "Fine wires" yet)).. So , I'm just stock with an exhaust. Not sure how it would be with you ..

You done with that Aviator ? I think it was. Your finished with it ? Where's the freakin pics!!

Scangauge I is the older, boxier, bigger, non-programmable unit. The new one is smaller, color changeable, you can add new gauges on it and has more features.

That's a lot more than $5.50 USD/gal - it's $8.80........

1.55 USD = 1.00 Euro
3.785 liters = 1 US gallon
