If you really want to upgrade I'd suggest selling the PC & going with a twin screw, Kenne Bell or Whipple. The install will be much more simple, not to mention you can keep that SC whine.

I know I'm the new guy but I speak from experience.

lol from what your saying a turbo isnt better and makes less power than a roots blower? im sorry to tell u but your misinformed

I didn't say anything about a turbo. Neither did the OP.

How am I misinformed?

EDIT: I just saw that you went 14.9 at 89mph. Obviously with a blistering time like that you know much more than me about going fast. My apologies.

Thanks man, it's an 03. It 's all but sold now though, it had turned into a never ending project. It was headed in a direction I didn't want to take it.

I guess I can fill in my profile for my F-150. Mod list is pretty short. As in none. :-P

Try a search of member RDY2RAC. He put a Paxton on a Lightning, which would be a similiar combo.

I have a built ross bottom end with stock crank after a blown out plug ruined my pistons and block. . . on my 2002 truck.

Would this manifold work ?

or this one ?

The first one is not a PI intake and I don't know if the DOHC & SOHC are interchangeable or not.

I have an 03 5.4 intake manifold if you need one let me know.

Take a look at this! Kinda expensive but I bet it would bolt right on your L intake.

Im not making any claims as to it being better or worse. . . I do know that all my low end torque at the moment is almost pointless ! ! . . . I can absolutely break the tires loose with 12 lbs on my stock blower, and Im not looking to break my tranny by adding slicks to the rear.
I also know that my roots falls off pretty fast top end . . . even though the patriot heads and cam made a bit of difference with helping there !
Right now. . with my mods I am in the high 12's , so it wont take me long to find out which is better with the Gainesville gatornational speedway 30 min from here.

That is a bad *** intake . . and I could use my stock intercooler setup with the lower intake !

I would still need . . probably . . a blow off valve maybe and that looks to be about it ! ? Up to how much boost would you guys push with 93 octane at 16 degrees of timing ?

Just ignore Faster150, we all do. He has shown many times how little he actually knows. Welcome to the forum.

If im not mistaken...

When you floor it.... WIDE OPEN
You dont see low RPM's

Ya you see 1800+ in first year

But tell you the truth... the stock 5.4 has alot of bottum end N/A

If you want to race i think the procharger would be better...
