1997 Battery cable hook up help -QUICKLY!!

Ok...I bought OEM cables and im hooking it up but I have an extra Negative
wire and I cant remember where it goes.

ok....both positives go to the starter here and the big negative goes here right?

I have the smaller neg hanging off it now in he picture.

I do have a bracket on the frame rail that the cables run through.
DId the other negative go there??

This is embarassing cause I cant remember.
Help please so I can get this on today.

I dont remember taking anything off that top starter bolt.

THANKS!!!!

The pic I have shows 2 wires where you have the 1 ground wire. Honestly, it can attach anywhere that is a good ground source. It is just a great safeguard to have a second in case the 1st fails.

As long as you have a ground connecting the circuit, you are good to go.

It mounts directly to the firewall behind the battery ...look for a green bolt or stud.
