good riddance, I thought I could handle an engine swap but the amount of frustration you go through seems a lot to handle. I too don't know much about vacuum and vacuum lines unless it goes to the 4wd. Problems with removing my bed (i.e. boltheads shearing off leaving bolt stuck in, etc) stopped me from doing a body lift. I laughed when I read you were frustrated and did not want to remove your dash...you just swapped an engine guy! haha. I stopped reading at about page 6, I'll start a few pages back and go from there to see where you are at now. If not give me a rundown.

But I do have a question, what kind of cars are you keeping up with? Can you describe the power, in some way shape or form (maybe, she breaks loose all day in first and second, chirps 3rd, etc)?

lol faster, im seriously hoping i get er done sat. at least the major part, i could live with having to blow my lines out another time like sunday morn and hook my new trans cooler up then.

josiah, the reason i was frustrated not wanting to tear into the dash is cuz its only 10 years old and its brittle plastic. it all seems pre broken for me or breaks just cuz i touched it! lol

as for the cars ive kept up with, the only one that gave me a real run was a new body saleen mustang. i let him get in front of me since i had traffic in my lane. but he never got any further than the initial jump from 70mph to idk lol

oh and forgot, the tires dont stick in first if i stab at it at all. i had a heavy load on it, still got it to break loose, im talking about 3 cord of wood on a trailer plus my payload. 2nd usually chirps (im locked up in the rear.)
