I'd beware of the Brisk plugs... At least 1 person here used the Brisk plugs and had issues (rough idle, IIRC). There's another thread in this forum about the new upcoming Champion plug for our motors. You may want to wait to see how these work out.

The Champion's are a platinum plug vs the Brisk standard core. You will have to change the Brisk's every 25-30K or so.

Best advice I've ever read on this forum!

well that didn't work I have 38,000 miles and the 100,000 mile bumper to bumper extended warranty and the dealer told me they would have to put it on the computer to see what was causing the skip and if it was not a maintaince item it would be covered under warranty so I asked what was not covered and he said spark plugs, clogged injectors what do ya know back to square one I just ordered the Brisk plug from Troyer I tried to get the NEW champion chp7989 double platinum but no one is selling them yet and my truck is killing me with the #5 not firing I have ordered the tool also just in case so hopefully I will have a good experience this weekend

If you do not have experience changing out these plugs, your better off letting FORD do the change! If you break one, you own it, if they break one, maybe they will take care of it.........find out before doing this yourself!...

I use to work for Ford have changed thousands of plugs just not any with this history I have read the TSB and have talked to a few people with a bit of experience with these plugs unfortunately they are to far away to drive over, The reason I shy away from the dealer is I would be in jail if I got a call from the dealer to tell me I would have to pay $3,100 because the broke a plug like our Canadian buddy Zycio I will post the experience and any suggestions hopefully I will be better than expected

dYour plugs and injectors are covered under the emissions warranty for 8 years and 80k miles,,,,,Please read the emissions warranty carefully in your warranty book...it list a lot of stuff. even covers the coil paks,

Wow! And we wonder why the dealerships give us a hard time when we expect them to do something.

P.S. Im not judging you.
