Your spark plugs should be good for 100k miles. Some on this board claim it's better to change them before you hit 30k miles to avoid a stuck spark plug. Did you follow the TSB for proper removal of spark plugs out of a 5.4 engine?

A 2007 with 30,000 miles should still be under warranty... I'd take it to the dealer, and tell them that there's a "low rpm skip", and have them check it out. I wouldn't tell them that I attempted to change the plugs...

Take it to the dealer and don't mention that you tried to take the plug out.

I thought the 06 and newer had anti-sieze on the plugs????

Whether it has antiseize on them or not, you still have to follow the instructions.

I'd take it to the dealer, ask them to change the plugs, and be prepared to pay $300 or so. This is a job unlike anything else you have ever seen before, it makes me very glad I have a V-6.

Nah, don't ask them for a plug change. Just remove the COP, start up the truck, wait for it to throw a misfire code. Then hook the COP back up, and take it to the dealership for warranty work. Having a misfire, the tech will (should) remove and inspect both the plug and the COP.
