summit doesnt have ANY LTs listed for 97-03 4.6's 
And yes my front (precats) are gutted. I did more work then Jbrew b.c i didnt feel safe dropping the cross member when my truck was on jackstands. We did alot more hacking and rewelding... Same results, just a few more exaust leaks
