Thanks - this is good stuff as I was contemplating these things myself.

I think I just changed my mind, lol.

For that amount of coin, quality should not be an issue.
It did fit but was really tight Wire length (I cut some tape to get wire to reach) it puts the connector in the worst place

To the left Granatelli COPs 3V --- middle Stock COP --- Right Granatelli COPs 4V Engines

RPM outlet and they never to this day have called me back or answer a Email good thing for me the manufacture replaced the four value ones that I got.
But I still have 4 stock Coils on My Truck waiting for replacements
I WOULD BE HAPPY WITH JUST 8 THAT WORKED.

If you order Granatelli COPs 3V you get whats pictured to the Left in My picture
They say it will fit But you at least have to cut the tape off the wiring harness and then pull some wire and re-tape on passenger side coil 2 & 3 Mainly

We Need some one with some skill (and a Dyno) to do a comprehensive study on these and see if electrical they produce more Voltage and secondly MORE HP

Hi Bootleg;

Thanks very much for the pics & info!

So Wraith - ball is in your court; which one one those three did you receive?

If the are the 3V ones, as you read, they can be installed as-is with just a little finesse. Perhaps do them yourself, as that mechanic should have been able to figure this out, just like Bootleg did.

Same guy who did your fans too, correct? Hmmm... I do not like coincidences ....

Please keep us informed, and good luck.

BTW - what did Granatelli say?

Thanks to everybodies inputs especially MGDfan. Well Granatelli said I do have the 3 Valve COPs and that some modifications would be necessary. Very valid point about the installer being the same as on my E fans. I will attempt the install of the COPs myself. Don't want to get something else started but also wonder what is wrong with the stock COPs as others have stated. These Granatelli's COPs are advertised to gain 15 HP again, probably would have just left my stock ones on as the truck has only 45K. Again lesson learned with Aftermarket parts.

In my opinion, there's nothing wrong with stock cops.
