I had a 90 f-150 back about 10 years ago that the rear ujoint came undone on on the freeway doing about 80. bent the tail shaft along with several other thing. I had just had the clutch replaced. Always use loctite one those ujoint bolts make sure there in good shape and they are tight.. I got stranded in a blizzard in Wyoming when that happened..

Didn't you replace those, not to long ago? If so, you must be running a little rich ehh..?? I'm not sure what else would cause pre-mature failure besides , well , wet wires maybe. They're pretty sensitive. I've read, if the two whites (heater wires) get wet, it can throw things out whack a bit.
I Took both front o2's out and cleaned them with electrical cleaner, put them back in, and the idle is much smoother. CEL hasnt came back on, and yea they have about 2k on them.
