Well I almost had no truck after today lol... avoided a bad wreck, though what was in my bed decided to dent the hell of of my tailgate while avoiding the jack off who wasnt paying attention.... Oh well im ok. And last night my alternator went out, but the "project" still continues

Well I gotta say...
I spent the last like 6 hours reading this enitre post none stop, and DAMN! Awesome truck man. I am pondering though... whats the dollar figure you would guess that has gone into this? Tunes, parts and labor included...
Im slowly buyin parts for my truck, and plan on one day either SC'in or going Turbo, but your truck has inspired me immensly. My town is chalk FULL of rice rockets, with very few true tuner cars and not many fast trucks. WOuld love to know what you would think the best way to start this kinda project is?

been there done that. had 300 # of steel slide back into the tailgate, makes one hell of a thud. quite the noticable dent too.

Man I really couldnt tell ya... I honestly have no idea. It all depends what kind of deals you find, and if you do your own work or pay someone to do it.

Its weird driving my taurus lol. sounds like its not even running, and honestly, this thing to the floor accelerates as fast as my truck under normal acceleration.... but no, its not done yet lol....
