I don't know if my A0DE in my Mustang is based on the same design, but I had a heck of a time getting the level right after I put in the shift kit. Glad to hear it was a simple solution!

Cool

HI!... I know on my built 4R70-W that my tranny builder told me to run the fluid way above the full mark. About 1 inch above the highest mark. He told me the race built 4r70-w's are notorious for sucking the pan dry. Ran mine like that for 6 years with no problems at all.

thats pretty much what he told me... if its too full, it will blow it out the over flow, so nothing really to worry about.

even with my built 4r70W deep +3qt pan shift kit and valve body if i fill it above the full mark it will just puke it out of the tail shaft.
