Does the pcv valve hose have a outer cover on it?
My V-6 does and I think the heated PCV's have thet insulation.

wow, 3 years later.
Come on help the guy out-at least he used the search and didn't post in HVAC or some place else.

Yea I was too, but at least he looked and that is a good thing. There is still alot of good info in some of the old threads.
