Sorry I put coil packs in the title I meant COPS. Just wondering what is everyones experience with COPS from Global-automotive. The $96 package. I was going to order, but I stalled out due to reading some bad publicilty online. Thanks ...........wannaride. Any response greatly appreciated, I really need to get my truck running right SOON.

If you heard something bad about Kevin over at Global you need to post up. He's been suppling allot of members here with COP's for well over a year.

Without complaints. Global Automotive has earned trust here.

Not only does he offer the best deal as far as price - he guarantee's them for a year .

I think he's cornering this market - Just look at his ebay numbers ..

Yea , he's legit. - buy them..

Got mine about month ago and they were great to work with. No complaints.

I bought the COP kit that came with spark plugs from him. Long story short...I replaced all 8 when the kit came in. One of the COP's was bad right out of the box, so had to stick one of the originals back on. The spark plugs that came in the kit were also not the correct ones for my truck. Trying to get in touch with him to get a fair refund on the plugs was somewhat painful. After several e-mails with no reply, he finally returned my messages when I advised him if he didn't, I would try to contact him through another agency. Funny how that works. All in all, it wasn't an unpleasant experience and the price pretty much offset the pain of dealing with the refund on the plugs. All 8 from him were cheaper than one from the stealership.

First off, I apologize if I offended anyone, that was not my intention. As far as posting up the negative feedback, Im not looking to tear down someone I know nothing about. All I did was "google" "global-automotive" to find a phone number and that is what came up. So I figured what better of a place to get accurate feedback than from those of you on this site who have actually used the product. And that is why I asked the question on this site. Thanks for the replies, I was just curious since it is a good price. Ill be ordering them tomorrow. Cant wait, I miss my truck! Thanks again.............wannaride

So you got a bad one out of your batch as well .. - That makes two so far . That's still a pretty good record . Bluegrass was saying a couple weeks ago he purchased a set of ACCELS and had two bad ones out of his eight . I've also read that Auto Zones sold a few bad ones..
You can' t really blame the vender - they buy in bulk and theres always that chance you'll get a bad part.

If Global was the only store selling a dead coil once in awhile , it would be different.

What was the deal with him sending everyone the wrong plugs - Your not the only one . When he sold the kits (way back when ) he sent plugs that wouldn't work in the F150 and if I recall , the store labeled the kit "The F150 kit".

I purchased one of those kits for a guy at work - wrong plugs . I just went to Murreys during lunch and swapped them for the right ones.

Instead of getting it right - he just took the kit of the shelf and stopped selling them that way..

Yeah , the price you pay vrs the dealer - no comparison. That's what makes it all worth it ..

It's the best tune up you can do for a high mileage modular..

No prob - Seen allot of people benifit from his COP's . I know I couldn't afford to put out the cash for eight dealership COP's at there prices ..
