You know I'm not going to argue about it . Ford engineers put it there for a reason. There smarter than most of us. That isn't the silencer - I know what that is..The part you need is part of the air metering system . Print a picture of it and show them what your talking about..

You said it ran right before you messed with it - go over your work, I can't do it from here..

thats a muffler for the IAC. it keeps u from hearing the IAC open and close because it makes a hissing noise that annoyed alot of people. i took mine off long ago and never caused me any problems

Well there yuh go polpilot , just go over your work and the posts from the other thread - you missed something ... To much air flow makes for a high idle..

This is your EVR ,theres two lines plugging into it . White on top and Green on the bottom.. check to make sure that there is a green line plugged into the bottom - it didn't look green to me in your picks..

ok i see now we where talking about diffrent things. but i do have the thing in the picture. im going to go back over everj think this weekend and if i cant fix it its going to the shop.

You have true duel exhaust with slowbastids and no converters???
That must have no Nutz if that is the case

The best thing to do is re-do your whole exhaust with 2 cats and NO Flowmasters!!!!!!I used to have them also
