They look nice, I am assuming they perform better than the stock ones.

Actually the upgrade is just in the spray pattern . It suppose to be an improvement . No gains in power that I could tell. But when I added a fresh set of COP's with them , wahooo!! specially @ about 3600 RPMs..

To bad a good set of plugs will outlast your COPs Somethings wrong there..

They should say change your COPs every 60,000 thousand miles..Freakin things..

Thumbs up Thanks Guys

He has them for all different models I just couldn't find the 5.4 F150 listed. How long does it take to get them "DG 508" if I order them today.

What can I do today? Maybe check my Injectors with a meter to see if I have any bad ones?

Guys thanks for all the input!!!

I am going to be a permant member of this site. I'm updating my info and will get pics of some of my old Fords, and My New Ford, posted as well. Although I'd like to "SHOOT IT" right now. I do have a lot of knowledge of the old Fords.

The Plugs

Oh forgot to tell you that someone had indeed put Bosch 4 Prong Platinum Plugs in sometime before I got the truck. I am installing Autolite Platinum inplace of these.

Welcome aboard . I've heard he fedex's them, u get them - 3 or 4 days, I heard of people getting them in two as well..

Injectors - yea, check for power if you want . Be careful in there - not like the older ones , you really don't want to hook the battery up and screw around with it to much , I mean you can - be careful not to short out your PCM or your going to have some real fun..

The injectors usually last longer than 80,000 miles without an issue - From what I read , yours sound fine. I switched mine out at 170,000 and they weren't bad then. Doesn't hurt to check tho..

The Bosch plat 4's
Take those friggin things out ASAP.
I had them in my truck and it always seemed to have wierd hesitation or miss at certain throttle positions.
I myself would return the autolites for Motorcrafts. My truck runs great with those.Jbrew will prob post some pics of the autolites and bosch

Bosch are the worst plugs you can put in the Ford modular , Autolites are right behinde .

Only use MotorCraft platinums just like it says under the hood and to the right - COP motors are very picky and it won't run right without the OEM parts.

That goes for 97-03 4six and 5fours. You'll prolly end up like I did with Autolites - 2 cylinders misfired right away ..

Yep, I had a slight miss before. Not bad just annoying.

OK, the autolites are "COMING OUT", the MOTORCRAFTS are being paid for today!

Going to Global to order the COP's.

Will check the Injectors with an OHM meter after the battery is disconnected.

How do you turn on Autosignature in this forum? Or do you have to check it every time?

Hell his COP's might be good lol , I should of asked what plugs were in there

Nah I doubt it now..

Heres your pics Kev -

Honeywell manufactures both Autolite and Motorcraft plugs - The difference is the heat range - Motorcrafts are designed to exact Ford specs and are OEM - Autolites are not and will fail..Look at the discoloration after having them in my truck after 40 miles and two misfiring cylinders..

These below are Bosch plugs pulled out of one of these modulars -

Need I say more?

OK,will order the COP's. But really not a lot I can do now except wait for the COP's to come in. I have a tube of the grease and a couple of packs of the antiseize.

Thanks jbrew and good luck on your exhaust.
