I have a 01 F150 Supercrew with a 5.4 Triton, i recently replaced all four cats all four O2 sensors two coils, and am now getting a bad injector reading on the # 2 cyclinder, for dwants 120.00 for a new injector but since Ive got 120,000 on the truck Im just going to replace all of them with some Accel's or Venoms, and was wondering what the lb rating is for the stock injectors.

19? thats it, wow that is wierd. I thought they would be around 40 or more.

 

A fuel injector is rated at lbs. of fuel an hour, not psi. 40 is your fuel line pressure measured in psi.

 

ford runs 43.5PSI.... but if u want a set of 19lb injectors i got a set ill sell u for 50 bucks. they got less than 15K miles on em work perfectly i took em off because i needed an upgrade.

 

Well I got ahold of Ford, and Accel ignition and they both said the same thing, I have 24lb injectors on my truck

 

You have 19s stock
24s require custom tuning

 

Faster150, will the 19s work on a 4.6? I'm thinking the wiring is the same. Don't need any jokes about not having a 5.4 jbrew

 

There both very very very WRONG. There Orange right? Only 19's are orange..You can't run 24's as Kevin Explained .. You injectors look like these -

Thanks jbrew I was hoping you would keep me in line. I am going to buy some injectors and send them to Linder Tech in Indy to have the set balanced. Sounds like Faster150 has what I'm looking for.

Even the Ford 3.8L (pre 04) ran 19's

 

5.4 and 4.6 both come with 19's which are good for up to 305FWHP
