Question Tweaks for power??

Hi, I was wondering if any of you out there knew of any small "tweaks" I could do to my truck for some added response/power/any improvement.

(2005 Ford f150 5.4L 3v supercab)

I heard that you can "remove four turns from the throttle body motor"
.... but have no idea how to do that and they did not specify.

Does anyone know how to do this modification to the throttlebody and/or any other kinda of mod. ????

(I like to tinker with things and make them work better)

Get tuning. Cat-back exhaust helps as well.

I think he means things you can do without buying stuff.

Yup, you got it. I was just wondering if i could tweak some existing things on my truck to help it respond/give a lil more power...

I already have those things anyways...

I have;
Airaid CAI
Diablo Sport tuner (on 93 octane)
Throttle body spacer
true dual exhuast (cut off Y pipe) with COFFINS
andd... 4:56 gears
(0-60 in about 9.5 sec.)
Banks headers and stallion PI converter coming soon...

0-60 time seems high especially w/ your mods and those 4:56 gears im getting an average of 7.4ish seconds w/ the edge and exhaust.

I'd also like to know what there is to do with these newwer ones. Ive looked around some but havent found anything really. With the older ones you could mess with the TPS, throttle body, things like that. Havent found much with the new models.

well, My rims and tires arent exactly light =)
plus the angle on the drive line.
plus, its 4x4...
plus, not ver aerodynamic when its an extra ffoot or two off of the ground. =)

= HEAVY truck...
It DOES seem kinda sluggish, and it is very unstable when it is cold, meaning the rpms go up and down..... is it possible for a cylinder or two to not be running, or for something to be running wrong and there be no check engine light?

The only maintenance i have done on it is.... A 30,000 mile transmision service and ive changed the fuel filter. I also always use Mobile one oil...

If you have a lift and tires then that is def gonna kill it some....what size tires and rims?? To be honest w/ you the tuner and throttle body spacer are probably hurting you... Ive heard of the throttle body spacers giving you negative #'s. Diablo isnt a bad tuner but you could prob EASILY get at LEAST an extra 10+++ horsepower w/ the edge or Xcal2. Also the added benefit of a very good transmission tune. Are there any newer updated tunes you can download w/ your diablo??? Some guy said he did and it made a world of difference, he was running the same tune for a year.

Did you read that on the forums??
haha, i think that was me...

Yes, I have updated my diablo to the most current version and it DEFINETELY helped alooottttt.

I doubt i can get and extra 10hp...
When I uninstall my tuner, my truck is a DOG...
Then, with the diablo, it gets up and goes. Does a nice little hop when i take off.

My rims are 18X9.5 heelo 6 (if thats how you spell it)
I have 35x12.5 18r Discoverer m/t cooper tires.
